Careprost (Bimatoprost Ophthalmic) is a medicine used for growing eyelashes. The active ingredient, Bimatoprost Ophthalmic, does this by increasing the density, thickness, and length of the eyelashes.

Bimatoprost Ophthalmic also increases amount of fluid in the eye and is actually officially used to treat glaucoma. For a glaucoma management, the drug needs to be dropped into the eye, as opposed to the eye lid only when used for eyelash treatment.

Action :

Careprost eye drops 0.03% contains a synthetic analogue of the naturally occurring prostamide known as Bimatoprost. It is a prostaglandin-like chemical that creates distinct actions within the various tissues of the body. The aqueous humour is the eye fluid that is the draining system of the eye. It is produced to maintain the normal eye pressure. The Bimatoprost in Careprost 0.03% is joined to the same receptors in the eye as prostamide. This increases the flow of the aqueous humour out of the eye via a spongy tissue known as the trabecular network. When the flow of the fluid becomes balanced, the pressure in the eye is also lowered. Due to this, the risk of damaging the optic nerve and losing sight is reduced. Apart from that, it allows the consumer to get long, natural eyelashes.

Dosage and administration :

Put one drop of Careprost (Bimatoprost Ophthalmic) on a liquid eyeliner cartridge. Draw a line along the upper eyelid, and then remove the excess liquid. Repeat this procedure with the other eye. Do not apply Careprost (Bimatoprost Ophthalmic) to the bottom eyelid.

Apply Careprost (Bimatoprost Ophthalmic) once a day. Results can normally be seen after two months of use, although it usually takes three to four months to achieve the desired effects.

Once the desired length or density is achieved, apply Careprost once a week to maintain this length. If you completely stop using Careprost (Bimatoprost Ophthalmic) your eyelashes will revert to their previous state.
